Sellers may list products and services in accordance with applicable laws.
The seller agrees that:
- All product information must be accurate and truthful.
- Product images must represent the actual product.
- Pricing, specifications, and descriptions must not be misleading.
- Products must comply with Indian laws and regulations.
The following products or services are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal goods or services
- Counterfeit products
- Stolen goods
- Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
- Narcotics or illegal substances
- Adult or obscene content
- Products infringing intellectual property rights
- Products prohibited by Indian law
Scanshop India reserves the right to remove any listing without prior notice.
The seller is responsible for:
- Processing customer orders promptly.
- Maintaining sufficient inventory.
- Packaging products securely.
- Delivering products within the promised timeframe.
- Handling customer inquiries related to products and orders.
Any disputes arising from product quality, delivery, or fulfillment shall primarily be the responsibility of the seller.
- Sellers may receive payments through payment gateways integrated with Scanshop India.
- Settlement timelines may vary depending on payment gateway policies.
- Applicable platform fees, transaction fees, taxes, or other charges may be deducted before settlement.
- Sellers are responsible for maintaining accurate bank account details.
Sellers are solely responsible for:
- GST compliance (if applicable).
- Tax collection and reporting.
- Filing tax returns.
- Compliance with all applicable tax laws.
Scanshop India shall not be responsible for any tax liabilities of sellers.
Scanshop India may provide AI-powered services including:
- Product QR Code Generation
- QR-integrated Product Images
- Digital Store Creation
- Marketing Tools
The seller acknowledges that:
- QR codes generated by the platform remain linked to platform services.
- Scanshop India may improve, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
- AI-generated content should be reviewed by the seller before use.
The seller retains ownership of their trademarks, product images, and content.
By uploading content to Scanshop India, the seller grants Scanshop India a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Display products on the platform.
- Promote products and stores.
- Use content for marketing and platform operations.
The seller warrants that uploaded content does not infringe third-party rights.
Sellers shall not:
- Mislead customers.
- Manipulate reviews or ratings.
- Engage in fraudulent activities.
- Violate any applicable laws.
- Interfere with platform operations.
- Use the platform for unauthorized purposes.
Scanshop India reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts if:
- These Terms are violated.
- Fraudulent activity is detected.
- Customer complaints indicate repeated misconduct.
- False information is provided during registration.
Termination may result in removal of product listings and store access.
Scanshop India provides the platform on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
Scanshop India shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits or revenue.
- Business interruption.
- Data loss.
- Customer disputes.
- Delivery failures.
- Seller misconduct.
The seller agrees to use the platform at their own risk.
The seller agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Scanshop India, its directors, employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Product sales.
- Seller actions.
- Violation of laws.
- Intellectual property infringement.
- Breach of these Terms.
Scanshop India reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Punjab, India.
